House Cleaning Services in Placitas, NM

Maid O’ Matic has cleaned homes across the Albuquerque metro since 2005 — more than 36,000 cleanings — and Placitas is part of that territory. Our crews come out from our office on Juan Tabo NE with a Team Leader on every crew and the same checklist we use in the city. Here is exactly what we do in Placitas and what it costs.

What Placitas does to a house

Placitas sits in the foothills north of Bernalillo, off I-25 at exit 242 — about half an hour from our office on Juan Tabo NE. Most homes here are custom builds on large lots: adobe and stucco, big south- and west-facing windows looking at the Sandias, tile and wood floors, long gravel or dirt driveways. That mix sets the work. Wind off the mesa carries fine grit under doors and into window tracks; well and community water leaves hard-water spotting on glass, fixtures and shower doors; piñon and juniper pollen settles on sills and fan blades; and open floor plans mean a lot of floor to vacuum and mop, done last so nothing is walked back over. We plan a Placitas cleaning around exactly those things, and because our crews schedule the drive, we book Placitas as deep, reset and move-in/move-out cleanings rather than quick maintenance visits.

Please note: In Placitas we do deep cleanings, reset cleanings and move-in/move-out cleanings only — Placitas is more than 15 driving miles from our office at 2901 Juan Tabo Blvd NE, 87112, and we don’t run routine maintenance visits that far out. Every Placitas clean is a deep clean, and every one starts at 8.5 labor hours. At our $58.85 labor-hour rate, that starts at $500.23, plus tax, and plus $15 if you would like us to bring the cleaning products. Larger homes and heavier buildup price above that floor. Our online estimate shows your Placitas starting price the moment you enter your square footage, and we confirm the details by phone before any work begins.

Labor hours are the combined hours worked by all technicians. For example, two technicians working for 3½ hours equals 7 labor hours.

Placitas is a special place to live, with its wide-open high-desert views, adobe-style homes, and large lots tucked into the foothills of the Sandia Mountains. That same beautiful landscape brings fine red dust, sand, and pollen that settle on surfaces faster than you would like. Maid O’ Matic has served Placitas homeowners since 2005, helping them keep up with the realities of high-desert living so they can spend weekends enjoying the trails instead of scrubbing floors.

Cleaning Services We Offer in Placitas

Every visit in Placitas is one of three things: a deep cleaning — top to bottom, the full checklist, every time; a reset cleaning for a home that has fallen behind and needs to be brought back to standard; or a detailed move-in or move-out cleaning, including for landlords turning a rental. We don’t run routine weekly or every-two-weeks maintenance visits more than 15 driving miles from our office, so a Placitas clean is never a light once-over. Our team takes care of kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming, paying close attention to the tile, brick, and Saltillo floors common in Placitas homes.

Why Placitas Homeowners Trust Maid O’ Matic

Our cleaners are background-checked W-2 employees, never subcontractors, and they arrive in marked company cars fully equipped and ready to work. We are bonded and insured to $2 million, with workers’ compensation on every employee. Cleaning products are optional: for $15 we bring them — eco-friendly, green-certified products as our standard, or a standard commercial brand if you prefer — or we use what you already keep at home. You can count on dependable, consistent results visit after visit.
